Everyday Career Girl: Vicky Justiz

So before we get started with this article, I just wanted to say yesterday was the best day of my life. Not only did I book to interview Vicky Justiz not knowing she will respond or not. But I am also one of her fans and love her workout videos on youtube. If you have not seen them you are missing out ladies; she is the bomb.

At first, I was star struck, yes over the phone I was star hit because it was like talking to my idol and she is genuinely super humble and honest. Ok, now let’s get into the interview part

Vicky mentioned in her interview that she never thought she would be a fitness model. People were asking her to do a video on her fitness routines and help them get in shape. Once, Vicky saw more and more views and subscribers she kept uploaded more videos. 

Shortly after, Vicky started to talk about her outfits and what she eats since people ask her what she wears and eats. One of her latest video on what she eats she mentioned her breakfast, lunch and dinner one what she would typically have. But she also told me that it’s fine to ice scream and that diets don’t work. 

For me who is cutting down on sugar, I haven’t been craving it as much anymore because I didn’t do it all in one take. Some people just cut down on something, and that’s when the craving happens, and that’s when people will eat the whole bag of chips or a full container of ice cream. It’s best to have two scoops of ice cream and work it out. 

On her video, she mentions she will eat a Twix after working out because girl burns so many calories already that she can. But, she is not going have 2 or 3 or even four twix. 

Her fitness goal to make girls look and feel good. Some females don’t work out because they are afraid of gaining too much muscle like man.  I was in that same ciricle until I came across her youtube channel three years ago. 

Starting her YouTube channel she wanted to be honest with her audience in which’ is essential for anything that you do. Being honest is one of the most important things you can do for your channel, blog, business and so on.

I asked why did she start your subscription box and she led to say “I started my subscription box because I love fitness, but I also like fashion and beauty. I wanted to share my favorite things with my subscribers as well as promote the brand that I like. I don’t like just fitness, beauty, and fashion,  I love them all, and that is important for people to know that it’s ok to like more than one thing.”
