How to Make: Sausage Potato Cheese Frittata

A frittata is a great way to start the day. It is entirely versatile so you can change it anytime depending on your mood. You can add meats (sausage, ham, bacon, or turkey), vegetables  (peppers, onions, tomatoes, spinach), potatoes, and your favorite type of cheese with the eggs, pop it in the oven, and you have a hearty breakfast in about 35 minutes.


  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cheese (montery jack)
  • 4 sausage patties cooked, chopped
  • 1/4 cup shredded potatoes
  • 1/8 cup red peppers, chopped
  • 1/8 cup green bell pepper choppped

Sausage Potato Cheese Frittata 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, beat the eggs
  • Add the milk and whisk together with the eggs 
  • Cook the sausage,  and add it to the egg mixture
  • Add the potatoes and chopped up peppers to the egg mixture
  • Stir it all together
  • Pour the egg mixture into a queesh pie dish
  • Add the cheese on the top
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until done

You can enjoy this recipe for breakfast, brunch,  and even breakfast for dinner. Add some fruit, biscuits or toast, and your vegetables have a full meal.

If you are wanting to try different versions of a frittata, and want different meats or vegetables, use this as a base recipe. Substitute any other meat or vegetables, while keeping the egg, milk, and cheese ingredient amounts the same.
