With Valentine’s Day this Thursday, it begs the question, “What do I wear to work?” The fun part about Valentine’s Day fashion is the colors – red, pink, and white. But you can pair any of those colors with black or denim as well.
For a more casual look, pair a white, pink or red sweater with leggings or skinny jeans and boots or over the knee boots. You can also wear red or pink flannel with boots as well.
If you are looking for a more business casual look, pair a white blouse with black skinny trousers, editor’s pants or skinny jeans and red or pink pumps. You can also add a red or pink blazer or scarf to match.
Pink or red accessories are also a fun way to go. Add a purse, clutch, jewelry, or even a pop of red lipstick if you are wanting go more subtle. A red coat, pink scarf, gloves and hat are a few of my favorite ways to accessorize for Valentine’s Day.
If you are wanting something a little more obvious that you dig the day of live, wear a red or pink dress, a place dress, with or without leggings, or tights with boots or heels to match. You can add a jacket or blazer for work, then take it off, add a few sparkly accessories like a necklace or earrings in case you are needing an outfit that can go from day to night relatively easy.
But whatever outfit you decide on, have fun with it and let your love for the day shine. Happy Valentine’s Day ladies, you deserve a special one.
